Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TempMailGet collects, uses, stores, protects, and deletes information when you use our temporary email website, mobile app, and related services. Temporary inboxes are designed for short-term use, not permanent storage or sensitive long-term communication.

1. Who We Are

TempMailGet provides temporary email services that allow users to receive messages without exposing a permanent personal inbox. In this policy, "TempMailGet", "we", "our", and "us" refer to the operators of this service and its related website, mobile app, and temporary inbox features.

We use a data minimization approach where possible. We do not position TempMailGet as a permanent personal mailbox, and we avoid collecting unnecessary personal information for routine temporary email use.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Temporary Email Addresses

When you use TempMailGet, a random disposable email address may be generated for you. This address is used to receive emails on your behalf. On the app, the current address may also be stored locally on your device until you generate a new address, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

2.2 Custom Email Addresses

Some versions of the service allow you to create custom email prefixes and select available domains. Custom addresses, creation timestamps, and selected domains may be stored locally on your device or associated with your account/session when needed to provide the feature.

2.3 Received Email Content

When emails arrive at a temporary or custom address, our systems process sender information, subject line, plain text and HTML body, received timestamp, attachment metadata, and supported attachment files so the message can be displayed in your inbox.

Email content is processed only to provide inbox functionality, abuse prevention, and operational reliability. Email content is not scanned for advertising targeting.

2.4 Technical Logs and Request Data

Our servers may process technical request data such as IP address, request path, response status, timestamp, user agent, device/browser details, and performance information for security, abuse prevention, debugging, rate limiting, and reliability monitoring.

2.5 App Preferences and Local State

The mobile app may store small preference values on your device, such as selected address, custom address list, domain cache, inbox cache, auto-refresh timer state, first-use flags, review prompt state, and similar settings needed for app functionality.

3. How We Use Information

  • Deliver emails to your temporary inbox.
  • Display received emails, metadata, and attachments.
  • Manage custom email addresses and selected domains.
  • Enable app features such as auto-refresh and local preferences.
  • Protect the service from spam, fraud, scraping, and malicious automation.
  • Improve reliability, diagnostics, and user experience.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use email message content for personalized advertising.

4. Local Storage on Your Device

The app may use device storage such as SharedPreferences on Android or equivalent local storage on other platforms. Local data can include the current temporary email address, custom addresses, cached inbox contents, domain cache, auto-refresh timer, and review/preference flags.

You can delete local app data by clearing app storage in your device settings or uninstalling the app.

5. Server-Side Data and Retention

Our backend processes email delivery and retrieval through TempMailGet infrastructure. We keep temporary inbox data only for a short period so the service can display incoming messages and then automatically remove them.

  • Temporary inbox messages: email metadata and message body content are retained up to about 5 hours after receipt, then removed by scheduled cleanup.
  • Email attachments: supported email attachments are deleted with the related email cleanup where linked; old orphan objects may be removed by maintenance cleanup.
  • Backend request logs: IP address, route, status code, timing, user agent, and security signals may be retained for a short operational period for abuse prevention, debugging, and security monitoring.
  • Support requests: information you submit through contact channels may be kept as long as reasonably needed to respond, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations.

Cleanup is automated and currently runs frequently to remove email data older than the retention window. Because cleanup jobs run on a schedule, deletion may not happen at the exact second a message reaches 5 hours, but it is designed to happen shortly after.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted infrastructure, hosting, storage, caching, security, and abuse-prevention providers to operate the service. These providers may process technical data such as IP addresses, request metadata, and security signals only as needed to provide, secure, and maintain the service.

The mobile app may use Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform for advertising, consent management, and measurement. Google and its partners may process advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device information, ad impressions, clicks, and related measurement data according to your consent choices and platform settings. Google's Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The website, app, and received emails may contain links to external websites, Telegram, advertisers, or other third-party services. Those services process data under their own privacy policies.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for essential functionality, session behavior, security, analytics, advertising, and preference storage. You can manage many cookie settings through your browser controls and, where available, consent prompts.

8. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, we may rely on service necessity, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation. Email delivery is processed to provide the service. Advertising and associated data collection are processed according to your consent where required.

9. Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect data, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, abuse monitoring, server-side security rules, and short retention periods for inbox data. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

TempMailGet is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum age required by law in your location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have privacy rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of advertising consent. To exercise rights, contact us at contact@notragnar.com. You may also use the account deletion request page where applicable.

12. Do Not Track and Browser Controls

Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, our service may not respond to every browser signal in the same way. You can manage privacy through browser controls, cookie settings, device permissions, and ad preference tools.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal requirements, platform changes, infrastructure updates, or operational improvements. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
