Terms of Use
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”, also referred to as the End User License Agreement or “EULA”) are a legal agreement between you and TempMailGet (Ganesh Sagat) (“we”, “our”, “us”). They govern your use of:
- the Temp Mail - Disposable Email mobile application for iOS and Android (the “App”), and
- the website at tempmailget.com
(together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the Service handles and why.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
3. What the Service Does
The Service generates disposable, temporary email addresses and displays messages sent to them. There is no account, no sign-up, and no password. Addresses and the messages they receive are short-lived by design, and are removed from our servers after a period of inactivity.
3.1 Important limitations
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- commit fraud, phishing, impersonation, or any other deceptive activity
- distribute malware, or send or solicit spam
- harass, threaten, defame, or abuse anyone
- attempt unauthorised access to any account, system, or network, whether ours or a third party’s
- evade bans, rate limits, trial restrictions, or other controls on any other service
- break any law, regulation, or third-party terms that apply to you
- scrape, overload, reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service, or run automated clients against it beyond normal app use
- resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or access to it
We may block addresses, restrict access, or suspend use of the Service if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
5. Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on a device you own or control. Where the App was obtained from the Apple App Store, this licence is also subject to the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions. Where it was obtained from Google Play, it is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
6. TempMail Premium (Auto-Renewable Subscription)
The Service is free to use. We also offer an optional paid subscription called TempMail Premium. Buying it is entirely your choice, and nothing in the free Service stops working if you do not.
6.1 What Premium includes
- No advertisements anywhere in the App
- Auto-refresh: the inbox updates on its own while the App is open
- Up to 20 saved custom mailboxes, instead of 10 on the free tier
- Access to premium email domains
6.2 Plans and price
- Monthly plan: length of subscription 1 month, renewing every month
- Yearly plan: length of subscription 1 year, renewing every year
Both plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. Prices are set per country or region by the app store, so the exact amount is shown to you in your local currency, including any applicable taxes, on the subscription screen inside the App and on the store listing before you confirm the purchase. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
6.3 Billing and auto-renewal on the Apple App Store (iOS)
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price for the plan you chose.
- You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew after purchase in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, or in the App Store app under your account.
- Apple, not us, processes the payment. We never see or store your card, bank, or Apple Account details.
6.4 Billing and auto-renewal on Google Play (Android)
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You can manage or cancel it in the Google Play Store app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Google, not us, processes the payment. We never see or store your payment details.
6.5 Cancellation
You can cancel at any time through the store you bought the subscription from, as described above. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cancel or refund the period you are currently in. Premium features stay available until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the App returns to the free tier. Deleting the App on its own does not cancel a subscription; you must cancel through the store.
6.6 Refunds
All purchases are handled by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their own policies rather than by us. For the App Store, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, use Google Play’s refund process. If you are in a region with a statutory right of withdrawal, that right applies through the store you purchased from. We can help with the App itself, but we cannot issue store refunds ourselves.
6.7 Restoring a purchase
If you reinstall the App or move to a new device using the same Apple Account or Google account, tap Restore Purchases on the Premium screen to bring an active subscription back. Entitlement is checked with the store, so an active subscription can always be restored; one that has lapsed, been cancelled and expired, or been refunded cannot.
6.8 Changes to plans, price, or benefits
We may change what Premium includes, add or retire plans, or change prices. Where a price change affects an existing subscription, the store (Apple or Google) will notify you and obtain your consent as its rules require before the new price applies, and you can decline by cancelling before the next renewal.
7. Advertising
The free tier of the App is supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, the App shows a consent form (Google’s User Messaging Platform) before personalised ads are used, and on iOS it also asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. You can change those choices later through Privacy choices in the App’s menu, and in your device settings. Premium subscribers see no advertisements, and the App makes no ad requests for them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Availability and Changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service running, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, operational limits, abuse controls, network problems, or third-party outages may interrupt it. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, domains, or the Service as a whole at any time. If we discontinue a paid feature you hold an active subscription to, you can cancel through your store as described in section 6.5.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, the website, and their design, code, text, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. Messages received at a temporary address belong to their senders and recipients, not to us.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that any message will arrive, or that any address or message will remain available. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, messages, accounts, profits, goodwill, or business, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or zero where you have paid us nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising out of your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or of any law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App. Remember to cancel any subscription separately, per section 6.5. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including sections 9 to 12 and 16, continue to apply.
14. Additional Terms for Apple App Store Users
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, the following also applies and, where it conflicts with the rest of these Terms, it takes precedence:
- Acknowledgement: These Terms are between you and TempMailGet only, and not with Apple. TempMailGet, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of licence: The licence granted in section 5 is non-transferable and limited to use of the App on any Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Maintenance and support: TempMailGet is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services.
- Warranty: TempMailGet is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App to you (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
- Product claims: TempMailGet, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, any claim that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property claims: In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your use of it infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, TempMailGet, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer name and address: Questions, complaints, or claims about the App should be directed to TempMailGet (Ganesh Sagat) at contact@notragnar.com. A postal address is available on request at the same address.
- Third-party terms: You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.
- Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
15. Additional Terms for Google Play Users
If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App. Support, warranty, and product claims for the App are our responsibility, not Google’s.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located in India will have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Material changes affecting an active subscription will not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
18. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
